If you are using our products on behalf of an organisation, the terms agreed between that organisation and Unfussy.Tech may also apply. This policy governs our own practices as a data controller; it does not cover how our customers choose to use or store data within our products, for which they are responsible as data controllers in their own right.

3. Data we collect
Unfussy.Tech website
When you visit our website we may collect:
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and referring URL, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes
- Your email address, if you choose to sign up for our newsletter or mailing list
- Any information you include when contacting us by email
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics scripts that follow you across other websites.
UnfussyPlanner
When you register for and use UnfussyPlanner, we collect:
- Account information: your name and email address
- Workspace content: projects, tasks, subtasks, comments, and attachments that you and your team create within the product
- Usage data: actions taken within the app (for example, tasks created or completed) used to understand how the product is being used and improve it
- Device and session data: IP address, browser type, and session identifiers for security and support purposes
UnfussyCRM
When you register for and use UnfussyCRM, we collect:
- Account information: your name and email address
- CRM content: contact records, company records, deal pipelines, notes, and any other data you choose to store within the product
- Usage data: actions taken within the app, used to understand product usage and improve the experience
- Device and session data: IP address, browser type, and session identifiers for security and support purposes
A note on your content: Data you store inside UnfussyPlanner or UnfussyCRM — tasks, contacts, deals, notes — belongs to you. We access it only to deliver the service (for example, to display it back to you) or where required for security, legal compliance, or at your explicit request.
4. How we use your data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- Delivering our products and services — providing access to UnfussyPlanner and UnfussyCRM, processing your account, and sending you transactional communications such as account confirmations and password resets
- Improving our products — analysing aggregated, anonymised usage patterns to understand how people use our tools and where we can make them better
- Customer support — responding to queries, bug reports, and feedback you send us
- Security and fraud prevention — detecting and preventing abuse, unauthorised access, and other harmful activity
- Communications you have opted into — sending product updates and news to subscribers who have signed up to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time
- Legal obligations — complying with applicable laws and responding to lawful requests from authorities
We do not use your data to serve you advertisements, and we do not build advertising profiles based on your usage of our products.

- Other users in your workspace — within UnfussyPlanner and UnfussyCRM, content you create is visible to other members of your workspace, as intended by the collaborative nature of the products
- Legal requirements — if we are required by law, court order, or regulatory authority to disclose information, we will do so and will notify you where legally permitted
- Business transfer — if Unfussy.Tech is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance and you will have the opportunity to delete your account
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with our legal obligations:
- Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account, and deleted within 90 days of account closure upon request
- Workspace content (tasks, contacts, etc.) is deleted within 90 days of account closure
- Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed within 30 days
- Server logs and technical data are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@unfussy.tech.
7. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Our measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS
- Encryption of data at rest
- Access controls ensuring only authorised personnel can access personal data
- Regular review of our security practices
No system is completely secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@unfussy.tech.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are based, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access — the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — the right to have inaccurate data corrected
- Deletion — the right to request that we delete your personal data

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any cookies that follow you across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services.
